Giulia Mollica
Giulia received a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Pisa in Italy. After a few postdoctoral years in Pisa (PI: Prof M. Geppi) and Southampton (PI: Prof. Malcolm Levitt), she was awarded a Marie Curie Fellowship to work on methodological developments for the analysis of polymorphic organic powders at the University of Aix-Marseille in France. She joined the CNRS as a permanent researcher in 2012. In 2017 she was awarded an ERC Starting Grant to work on new methods in solid-state NMR and MAS DNP for the analysis of organic materials at natural isotopic abundance, and she could start her independent career at the Institut de Chimie Radicalaire in Marseille, where she has been recently promoted Research Director. Her recent research interests focus on the development of solid-state NMR and MAS DNP approaches to investigate crystallization of organic molecular crystals in polymorphic systems.
