Jung Ho Lee 23rd International Society of Magnetic Resonance Conference 2023

Jung Ho Lee

Jung Ho Lee received a bachelor’s degree in 2002 and a master’s degree in 2007 from Seoul National University. He continued his graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he worked under the supervision of Silvia Cavagnero. His Ph.D. thesis focused on using lasers to enhance nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) sensitivity as well as utilizing solution NMR spectroscopy to probe the interaction between an Hsp70 molecular chaperone and its client protein. He was a postdoctoral fellow with Ad Bax at the U.S. National Institutes of Health, where his research concentrated on employing NMR spectroscopy to characterize the interaction between alpha-synuclein and lipid membranes. He later joined Seoul National University as a faculty member in 2016, where he is presently an assistant professor of chemistry. Dr. Lee’s current research interests lie in the development of novel solution NMR methods and the application of NMR to intrinsically disordered proteins.
